Our school is nestled in the heart of the Rangitīkei district in the town of Mangaweka. We are a full primary school catering for tamariki years 0-8.
Being situated close to native bush and the mighty Rangitīkei awa, we have a keen focus on nature based learning and encouraging our tamariki to be kaitiaki for these special natural spaces.
We are an Enviroschool and have a long term commitment in gifting our current & future tamariki with the skills & manaakitanga needed for being active citizens in their community and caring for the well-being of our natural spaces.
We value our supportive community & the warm sense of whānaungatanga our school offers.
There are several schools of a similar size in the district, providing a wide variety of inter-school activities throughout the year.

Adjacent to State Highway 1, in Mangaweka township,
15 minutes to Taihape.Palmerston North, Feilding, Marton and Whanganui no more than an hour away.
Significant hub for adventure tourism including rafting, kayaking, camping, tramping, hunting and fishing.
Mt Ruapehu ski fields & Tongariro National Park an hour away.
